The thread for "that guy also voiced/played that other guy" epiphanies that are really obvious in retrospect.

The most glaring one for me was when it dawned on me that Lloyd Irving and Robin from Teen Titans were voiced by the same guy. HE SOUNDS EXACTLY THE SAME AND YET IT DID NOT OCCUR TO ME THAT THE VOICE ACTOR WAS THE SAME DUDE FOR LITERALLY YEARS

Also, that actress from That 70s Show who also plays that chick from Orange is the New Black.

The fact that the voice actress for Pearl in Spongebob Squarepants also voices The Boss in Metal Gear Solid 3 always blows my mind.

I can't unhear The Boss in Pearl's voice now.

"Spongebob, try to remember the basics of CQC."

I recognize faces and names instantly. I'm a huge movie buff so I always find actors who are typecast into smaller, supporting roles throughout movies. I also recognize a lot of old actors, like how Mr. Feeny was Benjamin's father in The Graduate.

Zuko is Rufio. I repeat, Zuko is Rufio. This is not a drill.

And remember, "Looky, looky, I-a got a giant burn scar on my face!"

^^ There are some actors who I recognize them as the actor more than the character because they play the same person in every movie. Robert Downey Jr. comes to mind. But there are others who I think just fit into different kinds of roles so well that I see them as the character before the actor.

(I remember when I first learned that Ellen voiced Dory. My mind was BLOWN)

Samuel L. Jackson - Every black man in the history of cinema

Mega Man X was Domon Kasshu. I knew right away though. Guy's top tier and very distinct.

Homer Simpson=Robot Devil=Earthworm Jim was a cool realization.

I was a while into MIB 3 before recognizing Jermaine Clement.

The only voice actor I really always recognize immediately is Johnny Young Bosch. He's in like everything ever.

This is the only one I can think of that surprised me even though they have the exact same voice and I really should have known

I can't believe Eggman was the Pokemon narrator all along.

lol whenever I think of this I always remembered the time in middle school when we watched some documentary and the teacher was like "you all know who the narrater is but youll never guess!" no one guessed right and when the credits came and it said david tennant we we're all ashamed lmaooo

Lloyd was always so obvious to me. It was really jarring at first, especially since Collette's actor was so bad.

Lloyd really should have been obvious because he sounds exactly the same but it didn't occur to me until literally years after I played/watched both.

I always recognise the dude who voiced Spike in Cowboy Bebop/Tom on Toonami. He's everywhere.
