I guess Legends kinda had more linear plot than the average game show: Cross the moat, get down the steps of knowledge, beat the temple games, explore the temple. Still, I am skeptical.

whatever actor has to put together the silver monkey is gonna deserve Best Actor because I can't think of anything worse for somebody to go through

So long as someone is given the choice to start in the shrine of the Silver Monkey then I guess I'll be fine with it.
