Ugh! Mentioning that wolverine film has made me throw up a little....anyway...

Also, gonna try and keep this mostly spoiler-free.

So I went and watched this today, and it was magical. It was everything the trailer showed, and more. From opening credits to the end of credits scene, the whole audience was laughing the whole time.

The pacing and plot is quick and to the point, and I didn't see any plot holes either. All characters were well written, and acted. Although, there was one character which did appear, and I felt they need more screen time.
Hydra Bob, or in this it was just "Bob"
I think it probably should have been a higher rating, as I felt it had the same amount of violence (and goriness) as the 98 "Blade" film. As there's lots of graphic decapitations, and impalements. I've heard people have been trying to bring kids as young as 8 to the cinema to see it, and I don't recommend it.

However, I can't wait for the Blu-ray release, so I can add it to my collection. Also, the studio has agreed to do Deadpool 2. Can't wait for that.

Spoiler.
They can't call him that 'cause the MCU is using Hydra.
It's rated R (no one under 17 without a parent/guardian) stateside; the UK's 15 rating seems reasonable since you guys don't have an 18A.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

It was pretty good. A little too juvenile in its humor at times, but I enjoyed it on the whole.

I heard something about a joke at the expense of trans people is supposedly in the movie but might not be in there which would be nice if it weren't since I'd love to see this next weekend

I certainly don't remember anything of that nature.

Edit: oh, nm, I probably know what that would be referring to. I just put it in the category of "juvenile" so I just kinda glanced over it like the rest of the dick-and-balls humor throughout.

I've heard mostly positive things, although I will probably wait until it's out of theaters because I'm not dying to see it.

I have certainly been amused by the **** marketing, though.

I saw it tonight. I liked it a lot. Ryan Reynolds is pretty perfect for the part.

hrmm, I'm willing to give it a chance still

more so because apparently it actually does deal with
Deadpool being pansexual which I have not seen in any of the comics before, all I've seen was Wade's one-night stand which ended with his daughter and granddaughter in a North Korean prison camp neighboring a project with tragic clones of existing X-Men
also I hope this movie makes people really weirded out not expecting how SERIOUS Deadpool gets

Looooooved the movie. I really feel like they stayed true to the character. Ryan was born to play Wade. I wanna watch it again.

Juvenile humor is right up my alley. Good to hear.

Went to see it last night. It was a pretty good introduction to the character, seeing as I had not really been interested in Deadpool before now. He's an all right character, after all. The movie was pretty good, I liked it.

I found out about the sequel no earlier than yesterday, and I'm hyped up.
