I guess this ends all of the memes and jokes about Spiderman going on vacation during the last Avengers movie.
Sounds cool though! Gotta love spidey

He'll appear in the very last movie, saving everyone by suddenly showing up and spraying Thanos in the eye.

the biggest problem with the last spider-man movie was that it lacked direction (both garfield spidermans were GREAT with peter parker/gwen stacy stuff but terrible messes when it came to actual plot)
marvel studios are pretty solid at giving their films direction
i have hope again

When they first announced they were doing Civil War, I was thinking "but that makes zero sense when none of the characters have secret identities. That entire conflict only functions if you have a character like Spider-Man who needs to keep his ID secret."
And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

I love Spidey. I hope it's not the same dude from the recent s**tfests but any Spudey is better than none. I know it won't be Tobey but I can wish.

My only question is how much creative control is Sony going to allow Marvel to have over the Spiderman movies. In the end Sony does have own the rights and has the final say.

See I would love it so much if the Sam Raimi movies had Andrew Garfield instead. And also start with Gwen Stacey instead. Andrew is so much better at being Spider-man but it's a shame the plot is all over the place.
One of my friends threw around the idea of having the Miles Morales Spider-man, and having Donald Glover cast as him. I'd be SO EFFING down for that.
