This apparently happened last Monday but I haven't seen it reported until today. Christine Cavanaugh died from what seems to be complications with leukemia. Her most notable voice roles included the titular pig in Babe, "Dexter" in Dexter's Laboratory, "Oblina" in Aaahh!!! Real Monsters, "Chuckie" in Rugrats, and "Gosalyn" in Darkwing Duck. She also appeared on screen in roles for Cheers, The X-Files, ER, Salute Your Shorts, and Jerry Maguire. She retired from acting in 2001 to be closer with her family.

I could have sworn she commited suicide in 2001, but I realize now I got her confused with Mary Kay Bergman.

Still, it's sad. She was a great talent, and her work meant a lot to a great number of people.

I didn't realize she was Oblina, but now I see the resemblance when comparing it to Chuckie's voice.
