The new English dubbed episodes are free on Hulu for a limited time now. I love them. They really stay true to the Japanese version and are not as whacky as the original English dubs.
And is everyone enjoying Sailor Moon Crystal so far?

my favorite instance of original dub lesbian censorship was when Neptune and Uranus are talking about their first kisses, and Neptune goes "I remember my first kiss... it was with the cutest boy in school, BRAD." while a silhouette of her and REALLY OBVIOUSLY URANUS make out in the background

That said, although Crystal's transformation sequences are extremely awkward and the art style looks .... yeah.... , it's great

They should, because they're following everything in the Japanese version and even the Japanese names are kept.

for some reason I barely saw any episodes where Usagi threw her headpiece because come on Frisbee attacks are awesome

When I read the list of the new dub actors, I kept thinking of games that these voice actors have been in, particularly Sailor Moon's. Also I am enjoying Sailor Moon Crystal a lot~

The one thing I don't really like about Crystal is the way they look. They look half alien.

The characters in Sailor Moon Crystal can cut cakes with their chins.
Admittedly, one weird thing I know about sailor Moon was later on, they're fighting some kind of evil circus full of sexual predators. (Seriously... the villains hechmen would try to seduce someone, then when they're rejected, restrain them to a board and put their heads into a dream mirror which makes the person scream. Yeah, you could do that, but whatever you do, don't let the characters be gay?)

There's a whole lot of seduction scenes in Sailor Moon... The ones you are referring to are the episodes of Sailor Moon Super S. That season was OK. I'm not sure but I think they were transformed into normal humans...

I think that's the only way I saw Sailor Moon, apart from... whatever channel aired an early episode of it. I dont' really recall, but I recall that they translated "Nephrite" as "Neflite", and I didn't know it was a mineral, I thought it was named after something in your kidneys. o.o [shows what a weird kid I was.]
