I only watched a little bit because I dunno how much Sailor Moon I could handle, but it was pretty neat.

Yeah, before anyone asks, the original show's audio was poorly edited and didn't have spacial context at all - they just slapped some reverb on it and called it a day. It was mostly meant for mono soundsystems.

tbh this is a loooooot more visually interesting and memorable than the actual official re-make, which looks like literally any other shoujo

can these people do the new series instead

Yeah, 'magical girl' anime is a nice way of saying "mostly we just wanted to make more sailor moon fufufu"
