IT’S the mysterious code that appears in countless Pixar and Disney films, but what does A113 actually mean?
You’ve probably never noticed it, but this odd sequence has appeared in countless movies including The Incredibles, Ratatouille, WALL-E and many more.

So, here’s the answer.
A113 is a classroom number at the California Institute of Arts, which is where most professional animators who work at the big studios studied their craft.
The alumni try to include the code in their work as a subtle wink to their former classmates.
