Can't comment on most of the list since I've watched almost none of the shows represented, but putting anyone from Dragon Ball Z on a list that was supposedly based on actual character quality seems a little ridiculous. Also putting Johan ahead of Light or L - he's interesting and all, but I just can't see that argument.

Yeah... Evangelion is a close second to Haruhi Suzumiya on my list of my favorite anime series, but Shinji isn't even the best character on that show. (Ayanami Rei ftw)

Well, I am disappointed there's no Bleach or Yu Yu Hakusho, and Light/L need to be higher, but decent list. Glad Goku made top 3 and Vegeta top 10.
