So, Pac-Man apparently has a [strike]terrible[/strike] new cartoon that debuted on Disney XD earlier this month.

the theme song is ridiculous. and why does pac-man sound like a little kid isn't he like 25 why did they rebrand him

It's alright.
I love how the theme song quickly spurts out "Pac's our hero" like they HAVE to make sure everyone knows who the main character is.

^ That actually has a place in the song.
In Pac-man's song it sounds very out of place.
"Ghosts chompin' at his feet. Pac'sourhero. Pac just can't be beat YEEEAAAHHH!"
Maybe it's because the song sucks too.

My sister and I saw a bit of the first episode and it was awful. I prefer this, myself.

Man, this design is way better than that crap:
Someone should make a Pacman cartoon that is always about him hunting down and murdering the ghosts. I mean, he's clearly the villain anyway.

Watched the first 10 episodes. Not bad. I like the various Shout Outs to other games, and references to the regular series as is.
The current Pac-Man in the show is actually not the original Pac-Man either. That's his father. The Man part is just a title given by the Mayor.
I like some of the jokes, and Butt-ler is actually a pretty funny character. I doubt it'll get anywhere near good, and just stay an overall mediocre show, though.

Well, we meet Pac's parents later on, and they're the only Yellow Pac-Worlders to exist(besides their son). It's a theory, but I think it might've been officially stated.
