This is the End

Directorial debut from Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg who previously have collabed on movies such as Knocked Up, Superbad, Pineapple Express, and 50/50. Movie is filled to the brim of comedic talent, though aside from Rogen, James Franco, Jonah Hill, Danny McBride, Craig Robinson, and Jay Baruchel most of those are limited to cameos at the beginning of the movie. This is probably the funniest movie that's come out since last year's 21 Jump Street. Craig Robinson is seriously one of the most underrated comedic actors out there; he needs to be the main character in a movie instead of being support for once. There's a surprising amount of action/horror elements in here and this movie definitely does a more action-oriented 3rd act better than Ted did.

The only complaint is that cokehead Michael Cera is not in this movie enough. Also Aziz Ansari only got like two lines which is bull****.
and that's the waaaaaaaaaay the news goes

You thought 21 Jump Street was funny?

21 Jump Street wasn't funny. It was ****ing hilarious. I don't know how a "reboot" of an 80s cop show starring Channing Tatum, Jonah Hill, Ice Cube, and James Franco's brother directed by the guys who made Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs managed to be so awesome, but it did.
and that's the waaaaaaaaaay the news goes

Sounds like a recipe for disaster, I guess I should respect how decent the movie was considering its creation.

21 Jump Street really surprised me. I did not expect that movie to be any good. At all. I really liked it, though.

I was also not interested in seeing this movie until the reviews started coming in. Judging by the reviews, it looks like it might be a repeat of last year. Now I actually do want to see it.

I think it would've been even better if they switched the main cast with people who only got cameos.

Like, I'm imagining this movie with Aziz Ansari, Michael Cera, Jason Segal, Mindy Kaling, Martin Starr and Paul Rudd and it is the best thing ever.

Yeah, Aziz Ansari and Mindy Kaling are like two of my favorite people ever. That would be so awesome.

I don't know why I had low expectations for this movie, but I was surprised that it turned out to be one of the funniest moves I've seen in a long time. I highly recommend it.

also 21 jump street was hilarious
