The story is a little old... but I giggled at some of the complaints...

“I don’t like Daniel Craig”
After the release of the gritty James Bond reboot ‘Casino Royale’, one punter wrote in to the BBFC to complain that he did not like Daniel Craig as the new 007 and demanded the return of Sean Connery.

“My friend fainted”
While watching horror flick ‘Eden Lake’, one begrudged viewer was outraged that the movie was so scary it made his female companion faint during the screening.

“It was a bad movie”
Disappointed customers returning home from ‘Disaster Movie’ wrote to the BBFC to say that they should have been warned that the film was so bad. This is a common complaint apparently.

What's your complaint from a movie or movie theatre experience?

My only theatrical complaint on record has to do with last year's The Campaign with Will Ferrel and Zach Galafiankis (did I spell that right?). Too often, it mistook shock value for humor, and it lacked the wit of something like Monty Python's "Communist Quiz." But then again, I guess it's okay that it stuck in a moral about telling the truth at the end.

Attack of the Clones

After 11 years, it's been too long since I've seen it to really be specific with my complaint, but man, I remember it being a real chore to sit though. That being said, from what I do remember, it was like a bunch of scenes of Anakin and Amidala making out, then dust kicked up and there was fighting, and back and forth. Forever.

The Reading Cinema near us has really inconsistent sound quality and the speakers actually pop on and off occasionally.

I watched Thor in a local theater but unfortunately the 3D was messed up and there were no guys around to fix the screen. So everybody sat there watching a blurry movie for two and a half hours.

I saw one of those lame retro-grindhouse throwbacks (Hobo With a Shotgun or Machete or something) in theater, and something was wrong with the projector, cutting off half the picture. We got through quarter of the film that way because we weren't sure if it was intentional or not.

The last three movies I saw at one of my local movie theaters were miserable. The theater cranks the volume up so loud that my teeth vibrate. Usually I would love a loud movie so I can hear all of the dialogue, but even when people are whispering in the movie, it seems like they're screaming right in my ear. I've started going to another movie theater where the volume is a much more bearable rate.
