If I were to make a thread similar to the VGF Listeners Club except with anime and cartoons, who would be interested?

It would go something like:

I give a particular episode of a particular series (like Gravity Falls Episode 4 or whatever) and then everyone watches that episode and gives their thoughts on it. It would be just one episode at a time and you would have like a week to watch it. Then I would choose someone else to pick the next episode.

This way we could all experience snippets of series we may not have seen and discuss them.

The downside is obviously that episodes tend to be long (unless it's something like Adventure Time), plus we would have to be sure to pick episodes that don't depend on prior knowledge of the series for enjoyment.

But idk ripping off of SD's ideas is fun so would anyone be interested? If not it's cool but yeah it'd be a good way to get us to watch more different stuff I think.

I am interested in this. I otherwise don't commit to watching new stuff. I used to rent anime dvds from the place down the road, but they shut and now I'm just to meh about stuff on the net. Sort of like emulator games. The experience somehow seems less important.

^ Weird, isnt it? Don't get me wrong, I love emulation but it loses some of its magic.

Oh, and yeah, I'd possibly be interested.

^^ I'm glad you think so; half of the reason I started this was because I want to watch stuff that I may have not heard of, or may not have started otherwise. I usually only get into things if someone else makes me, and then I usually end up liking them, so.

also im glad to see everyone except dash has taste here. yes. yes good.

I'll tentatively say I'm interested, because this sounds like something I'd really enjoy, but I suck at having time to do stuff.

I don't watch very many anime or cartoons, but I'm up for trying stuff.

Anyway, if I'm not too late, I think I have a good pick:

I'm not sure how popular it is but, I've always liked Ruroni Kenshin but never actually finished it, and I never hear about it on VGF, soI'd suggest Episode 1. The story is pretty deep so jumping in further would kind of not work, IMO.
