Steven Spielberg made a movie about Abraham Lincoln.

It looks exactly like what one would expect if Steven Spielberg were to make a movie about Abraham Lincoln.

I love history films, so I'm definitely gonna see this one.

How do you expect me to watch a Lincoln film without vampires?!

(I kid, of course. This actually looks decent.)

Saw this yesterday. Despite sharing the theater with old people who talked very loudly and smelled distinctly like fart, I really enjoyed it. I like how instead of a biopic about his entire life (which probably could not be done within the span of a two hour movie), they just focused on Lincoln trying to pass the 13th Amendment and so on. Daniel Day-Lewis does just as well as you've read in the reviews and he's probably going to win all of the awards ever. I'm sure this is gonna be put up for Best Picture as well.
and that's the waaaaaaaaaay the news goes

I saw it on thanksgiving, and I agree. Daniel Day Lewis' performance was amazing. It felt like he really captured the character, and I especially love all the stories he told. My only problem is that in the beginning it was really slow, but it picked up pretty fast.
