I just watched Ryu VS Scorpian and I gotta say, I'm impressed. It managed to be very accurate to their gaming roots but it added where it needed to. I'd call it a tie...tough call between the two vids though, really.
^ So, then what's better than both vids?

Have you guys seen Dead Fantasy? It's not a sprite fight as such, but someone actually animated the characters from Final Fantasy and Dead or Alive and made them fight each other. It's pretty darn awesome.
