Please tell me there are some people on this forum who like Dragon Ball/Dragon Ball Z just as much as I do. Which is a lot btw. Post your favorite scenes and moments in the series!

My favorite part was when Goku built his house on the sun.

I really enjoy all of Buu's quotes. especially the one about his tummy.

Where is my "Original Character do not steal" avatar?

I really like Dragon Ball Z. Hell I like the original, in spite of its flaws (you know....the big one. The one where they spend 10 episodes powering up.) It was probably my first exposure to anime and its influence follow me everywhere.


Couldn't tell you my favorite moment cause there is a lot of them. :) I'll leave that Goku biting Frieza's tail ranks up pretty high.

My favorite part is when Gohan plays around with Cell and Cell can't believe it. Gohan was my favorite...until he got a girlfriend and became weak....

^But then he got even stronger. People tend to forget about Mystic/Ultimate Gohan.

Though, I've somewhat created my own canon of "Dragon Ball>Dragon Ball Kai>Dragon Ball: Bojack Unbound."

I think Gohan should have stayed the protagonist instead of just undoing everything in the end of the Cell Games.

I have several favorite moments-

Trunks killing Mecha Frieza, Bardock realizing that his son will be the one to defeat Frieza and Gohan defeating Cell.

Ya Gohan just kinda fell off after the Cell Games, which really made me mad because he got so powerful when he defeated Cell

^But, again, he was one of the strongest characters in the show once he reached Mystic.

In GT he falls back, becoming weak by comparison.

My favorite DBZ moments chronologically:

1. Goku's Kamehameha VS Vegeta's Galick Gun.

2. Gohan's Masenko overpowering third-form Frieza.

3. Goku becoming Super Saiyan.

4. Goku blocking Trunk's sword attacks with his index finger.

5. Tien holding second-form Cell at bay to defend the androids.

6. Gohan SSj2 killing Cell with Father-Son Kamehameha.

7. Vegeta's sacrifice against Majin Buu.

8. Goku displaying his SSj3 form to Babidi & Buu.

9. Vegito stopping Super Buu from destroying the universe in anger.

10.Kid Buu pushing back Goku's Spirit Bomb.

Those are definitely my favorite scenes, although there's many good ones.

What's everone's favorite fight? Mine's Goku VS Cooler. It's the most brutally one-sided DBZ fight. There's often a large gap in power in the movies, but even Broly didn't dismantle Goku with such ease.

I liked it when Goku fought Akira Toriyama and won, thus making him the lead character of the rest of the series.

DBZ didn't really do it for me.

^ Wait. You don't mind the EoB but you mind GT? Why? I thought that the common issue was that Akira Toriyama was not the main man behind the efforts. Is it because GT was anime, not manga, or just that much of GT sucked?
