OK, so the show is actually in it's second season, but it's fairly unloved for the moment, so I thought it could use a thread.

Thoughts?

Oh goodness I love this show. I thought the character of Dan was hilarious, with his absurd logic and blatant disrespect for everything. Chris' servile tendencies make it even better, and the plots are usually ridiculous in a wonderful way.

I think that this show has a great charm to it and is really enjoyable for a wide age-group; it's very clever and Dan's illogical conclusions are incredibly fun to witness. I really like how he's constantly getting Chris into crap. XD

So today's episode was "Wedding".
Hey, Hortense. Haven't seen you in a while.

This is probably the first time in the series they actually tried to portray Dan in a sympathetic light. Even dead-inside DarkZero wanted to shed a tear.

Thanks to my dirty mind, I know exactly what Dan planned to do with his list of noodle implements.
So the latest episode:
Loved the semi-sepia-tone look, and the overall 'detective film' feel of the episode.

This episode has some great lines, such as (paraphrasing): "Half of all marriages end in divorce, and the other half end in death!" or "And don't call the police unless you hate your knees for some reason!"

Mr. Mumbles is a lesbian?
OPEN THE DOOR
GET ON THE FLOOR
Oh, look, it's Ben.

I'm suprised Dan's face didn't have any sort of marks from Mr. Mumbles.

Between this and Baseball, I'd say it fine to make obvious references to comic book characters as long as you don't call them by name.
