Check it ou--
Actually, no. I'm not going to be an ***hole about this like YouTube is and post the link just yet.
As some of you may know, a prequel of The Thing is coming out in theaters. So YouTube, being the clever website it is, made ads for it. How, you ask?
By disguising them as promoted videos in the sidebar such as one of them showing a bikini-clad woman's backside in the thumbnail, titled "Girl in tiny bikini". Oh, yeah--it's not just bikini videos. Some other videos are disguised, with titles such as "Twisted prank you have to see!!!" with a thumbnail of a guy at a microwave. (i see what you did there youtube)
What you don't know is that they actually redirect you to a Flash movie disguised as a legitimate YouTube video. Right before the climax of the video, the aforementioned Thing busts through the screen and scares the living **** out of you. Oh, and you can't interact with the Flash until it stops.
So yes, it's a goddamn screamer. Green-lit by YouTube.
Let this be a warning to any of you reading this.
