John Dies at the End

So, like, some of you may have seen me talking up this book on occasion. Written by David Wong, the chief editor at Cracked.com, It's a bizarre story of cosmic horror and alien conspiracy, counterbalanced with some of the best smart-dumb humour imaginable. Like an unholy union between HP Lovecraft and Douglas Adams. Truly an awesome read, and one of my favourite books.

Well, Don Coscarelli (director of 'Bubba Ho-tep' and 'Phantasm') is nearing completion on a film version. They've just released the trailer (below), and it looks pretty damn miraculous, all things considered.

So. I totally recommend the book, and am excited for the film, as well. That's all.

Wow, I liked the book, but I had no idea it was popular enough to get a movie. I'm ready.
