Hoo boy.
Most interestingly, it features the return of Owl Jolson of the
I Love to Singa fame. Gee, I wonder how that's gonna turn out.

It's actually fairly entertaining.

Feh. It's not as good as I was expecting. But then, a lot of the CN cartoons from Chowder onwards spoiled me.

The only part of this show I've seen so far is the gwilled cheese.
I'm too traumatized to watch any more of it.

My eternal love for Looney Tunes gives me no choice but to like this show.
My favorite episode so far is the one where they go to jail.

I honestly like this show. Sure, it feels somewhat like a remake of the original, but kept the spirit of what make it entertaining. The slapstick. However... unlike a lot of other slapstick comedies, it doesn't rely on shock humor or gross-out tactics.
That puts it miles above a lot of other CN originals. Atleast, IMO.

This is even more disturbing when you find out the other meaning for a grilled cheese sandwich...

I've seen little bits of it here and there. It stinks.

Why is Gossamer talking? And why do the voice actors suck so hard? And why does Witch Hazel sound like the lady from those Pine-Sol commercials? This show is terrible.

Daffy's VA is the initial successor to Blanc (same guy doing Bugs voice).
The whole show is a reimagining of the characters, the creators said from the get go they didn't want to do anything like the original shorts because they can't do it justice.
You have to look at it from a "new take on the characters/alternative universe" perspective rather than a "why are they doing this" in order to enjoy it.

Now I'm curious.
You sound particularly savvy, Andre.
What's your personal take on it? I've been thinking about watching it some more.

After watching that grilled cheese bit, I think I'll pass.

I was real skeptical when I first heard it because I thought the same thing as everyone else "Oh dear God, not another weak attempt to cash off the franchise", but after a while someone told me about the premise of it and the writer's feelings.
After hearing that, I decided to give it a chance, and it actually is pretty unique.
For one I like the fact that the characters retain their bare traits: Bugs is still smug and sarcastic, Daffy is still complete jerkface, etc. Yosimite kind of bugs me because they've made him "independent, annoying neighbor" and the whole 180 flip on Lola to make people forget about Space Jam does the same too.
Overall, I think it's something you have to give a shot and judge for yourself. Ignore the new "Merrie Melodies" (like Grilled Cheese and Blow My Stack) and the 3D Road Runner and it's a solid show

I watched a full episode the other day. It was actually pretty good.
It wasn't very Looney Toon-ish, but by itself it was very enjoyable. The Merry Melodies and Roadrunner shorts are meh, though.

Again, it's a fine show, but the writing doesn't seem to be too unique.
I did like the episode with Lola, though.
