Live action films
On November 24, 2009, it was announced that two live-action Gantz films are in production. The movies will star Kazunari Ninomiya and Kenichi Matsuyama and will be directed by Shinsuke Sato. The movies will be released in the spring and winter of 2011.[34] The first film is scheduled to be released in North America in 46 states on January 20th, 2011.[35]
