For those who like Higurashi no Naku Koro ni (and Kai), there's a new installment in the "When They Cry" series. This one is not a sequel to Higurashi, but it has some relation. But, it's kind of a confusing relation.
The man who is blind, deaf, and silent lives in peace.

I'm following it, and I read the sound novels.

It's entertaining. I found the novels to be better overall, but it has time to go into detail about things and isn't restricted to 30 or so minutes, so...I gotta give the anime credit. Seeing what gets cut and what doesn't helps toward figuring out the truth, I suppose.

also the music is '**** yeah' worthy

It's like Higurashi's craziness cranked up several notches.

Cranked to 11.

^ I didn't think that'd be possible.

...Then I laugh to myself for being ignorant.

Even Higurashi doesn't have
a person being forced to eat a meal made from their murdered family, or people that were gutted and stuffed with candy.
That's how much crazier it is. The one thing I don't like about it is that it has a lot of characters. Too many, and then the witches and their servants add a lot more.

And, where did you get the sound novel, X-3?

I got it through not legal ways, to put it mysteriously.

The Witch Hunt has a translation patch for everything up to Ep4.
