No.
No, no, no.
George? Man, George. It's time to quit. Please, I understand that this was your idea, but people liked it before you, you know, ****ing lost your mind.

Remember when there was just Episodes 4 5 and 6 and people liked it?

F... four-hundred proposed episodes!?
God, damn it. I swear to the powers that be, the little bucket that Lucas keeps digging into for nails to hammer into his own coffin is bottomless.

Not going to lie here, I really don't see why anyone wouldn't like this.

Because LucasFilm hasn't made anything quality since Clone Wars (THE ORIGINAL CARTOON NOT THE NEW ONE) and Ep. III. And haven't made anything good since the 80's.

In baseball, you've got a pitcher who has had many awesome seasons early in his career. This pitcher has played for the past four games. He's your closer. You've had huge leads before the bottom of the ninth, and your pitcher blows it every game. Now, they want to put him in the next game. Are the fans going to boo him when he comes out even though he could quite possibly pitch a good inning and win the game? Of course they will. He's blown four saves. The fans aren't going to be cheering for him until he shows them that he can pitch again.

^But sometimes he needs to come off the mound & start playing outfield. Let somebody else pitch; that doesn't mean he still won't be making great plays. George Lucas might be the Rick Ankiel of filmmaking.
And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

^^^Belay that, everyone knows it's just as original to attack George Lucas as it is to attack his fellow George, ol' Dubya.
In all seriousness, I find it rather dull to even think he's making more material. I'm not a fan of the direction the franchise is headed, but hey, I can't stop big money when big money rears his head.

Remember "Christmas Special"?
Yeah.

Christmas Special was abandoned by Lucas somewhere in the process, so...

What's your definition of Good? Calling something crap because YOU didn't like it is not fair. I don't see why anyone should have a negative opinion of this ESPECIALLY SINCE IT ISN'T EVEN OUT YET!!!!!!!!!
Anyway, it will be interesting that we will finally know what had been going on inbetween those 19 years (other than Darth Vader building his own death star.)

I'm waiting to see it before I pass judgement, but...well...I'm not hopeful.

^^It's so much fun to listen to you try to be objective. Fun in a 'watching a burn victim splash himself with acid' way.

Well, if the "quality" you're talking about includes the Force Unleashed, Ep. III, The original Clone Wars, and the prequels in general, then I'm all for this.
Don't jump on the "oh the prequels suck" bandwagon. The only reason people liked the original trilogy better is because half the people that bitch were 6 when they first saw it.

I will admit, this is true. I'm more angry at Lucas' recent efforts (See: Clone Wars, TV Spinoff, Indiana Jones 4 (shut up it was not nearly as good)). I love episodes I and III, but am rather... Iffy on II.

I've heard IV was better than Temple of Doom :V

Temple of Doom has this certain cheesiness to it that I like, somehow, but I concede that almost anything was better than ToD.

I hope they don't pull that crap.
