Media's double standard.

In cartoons and such, you see little boys in their underwear all the time. It's not taken as much of a problem. But whenever they show a little girl in panties, the internet is flooded with 'zomg kiddie porn!!!'. IMO, they shouldn't have that kind of stuff in their shows, boys or girls.

There's also Shin-Chan, though somewhat different.


I assume it for some new gross factor I've seen in some cartoons. Most of the time it isn't really funny at all, so yeah.

I don't think it really matters. I haven't actually seen many cartoons involving that...

It's like when a woman is portrayed as flirty, she's "a slut, a whore, a bitch," while a guy is "a player, a pimp, a mack-daddy." In other words, it sucks and it's not fair to women. -CSM

While I don't see a reason to be showing cartoon characters in their underwear, I don't really care if someone else does. If someone else calls that cartoon "kiddie porn", that's their opinion.

Probably the reason the girls are called kiddie porn is because of our old friend the Male Gaze.
