Let's talk about how about The Simpsons suck

I'm talking about the Neo Simpsons, of course. I absolutely loath it. Seriously I think they should just put it out of their misery. It's gotten to the point where Family Guy can write a more cohesive comedy. Now THAT's quite the statement.

As far as I'm concerned yes, it did. Many years ago.

How about, if you don't like, don't watch it?

I mean, yeah, they do pass older episodes, but if you don't like the newer episodes, change the channel?

OR, how about if you're a true Simpsons fan as I am, and loved the series for what it was down to last detail, what it accomplished, you'd have no qualms about visiting a message board and discussing what a despicable abomination of a TV show it has become.

Frankly, as someone who had a great respect for the original eps, I am appalled. It's like two different series: One brilliant, the other complete opposite and just downright awful. So yes, I do change the channel. I don't watch new episodes, but then I also don't see that as a good arguement, nor feel any shame in discussing it on VGF.

Well, to be fair, it has been over 19 seasons. They've probably just lost their touch.

Agreed. I watched "Grampa vs. Sexual Inadequacy" last night and was amazed at how good it was. Now, "Treehouse of Horror XVIII" on the other hand...

I'm a true Simpsons fan and I think the new(er) seasons have their moments. People have said that they got back some of their magic in the season after the movie.

I wonder how many people that call themselves "true" Simpsons fans were alive during it's entire run.

I was only 7 when it started and I'm now 26.

I enjoy the newer episodes. They're not as good as the older ones, but I still enjoy them.
