I don't usually bother much with manga, but a friend recommended the crap out of the 'Witchblade' manga, so I picked it up yesterday. Not half bad.

I've kinda been wanting to read Bo-bobo myself. Right now, though, I'm collecting TokyoPop's run of Lupin III. The first series is amazing. Plenty of twist endings and great slapstick. The second series, Lupin III:World's Most Wanted, is a bit wackier and feels pretty ridiculous at times, which, in this case, is not a good thing.

I don't read much manga. But I sometimes watch a few manga vids, a few examples:

Armageddon (good story)
Death note (pretty decant)
Blood: The last Vampire ( I love this one, only for the blood letting)
Ghost in the shell (enjoyable storyline)
Kai Doh Maru (Total kick ass)
Razor blade smile(ok this one is total ****, if you see this please don't buy)

As for anime? It's not my thing!

Pokèmon is an awful anime but the manga looks good. When I see Team Rocket in every episode, I wanna kill things.

Yeah, but we had 4Kids at work here. You don't yet know the meaning of assrape until you hear this ****.

As for Manga, I've drifted apart from it. I always loved reading Case Closed, Basilisk, and Vagabond, though.

I haven't read manga in a about a year. I used to get Dragon Ball and One Piece volumes, as well as buy Shonen Jump every month.

I also used to get the original Yu-Gi-Oh! Manga. Original, not the Duelist stuff, though I do have a copy of Vol. 1 of Yu-Gi-Oh!: Duelist.
and that's the waaaaaaaaaay the news goes

The thing is that they took the english dub and translated it right of, they did something crappy crappyer, the puns doesn't make sence and its not just only pokemon, yu gi oh they slaughtered and don't even make me started about Chrono Crusade the theme song in Swedish...*shrugs* Duel masters was ok though.

The point i realy want to say is 4kids made it horrible and our swedish translators made it worse.

A manga i could rekomen if you want to start reading again is .hack it's pretty decent haven't read to far to realy get a good picture byt so far decent.

.Hack was so-so. Too much drama in /sign, and too much lame in the anime version of Legend of the Twilight. Still a good concept, I just haven't seen it utilized well yet.

True, their execution of the property as a whole was fairly poor, though the concept, at least on paper, was solid. I like how they gave a tie in anime with the games.

Thanks, Ark. Another good idea with poor execution was Pokèmon E-Reader cards, I never experienced it but I assume you could swipe and catch the PKMN on the games and use 'em in the TCG. Sounds good but obviously failed for some reason. If they should try again with the next games, I'd collect PKMN cards again.

One Piece, Bleach, Death note.

Anyone see a recurring theme?
