I alwasy thought Return of Jafar blew chunks. King of thieves was a big improvement. Toy Story II was a triumph, and Rescuers Down Under was awesome.

The reason that you (and others) didn't think Return of Jafar was any good might be because it wasn't intended to be a movie in the first place. It was originally going to be the first week's worth of Aladdin animated series episodes. With that fact in mind, the quality of the movie is understandable.
I'm going to second what others have said here for best: both Aladdin sequels, Rescuers Down Under, Toy Story 2.
Worst: Cinderella 2. I mean, a sequel to Cinderella is just pointless. There's almost nothing that you could do with the storyline without seriously screwing up the "happily ever after" ending of the first one.

I vote 'Rescuers Down Under' as best. There's an obvious effort and care in the movie suspiciously absent from your average Disney sequel. Not to mention, casting George C. Scott as the villain was a masterstroke.
Worst? Any sequel that doesn't have a point. I can maybe understand adding to the adventures of Aladdin or Simba, as they're fairly adventurous types, all told; but really, how do you continue the storyline to 'Cinderella' or 'Beauty and the Beast'?

I honestly don't see what anyone sees in Return of Jafar. I found it incredibly obnoxious and boring and other people I know agree with me. So there.
