DBGT question

Well, I never watched the early episodes of GT cause I had heard such bad things about it, but now there is something that happened in those episodes that makes me curious. Just what is the origin story about that big, red, evil Shenron and the black star dragonballs?

The black star dragonballs have the power of the normal dragonballs, but in one year the planet they are used on will be destroyed. The red shenron is summoned by the black-star dragonballs.

I think that's all they've shown on CN so far about it. I don't really care anymore either way.

[SPOILERS]

The Black Star Dragonballs were created by Piccolo Daimou(Picoclo's father from back in DB), I believe. Unlike the normal Dragonballs, the Black Stars can grant any wish made--there are no limitations to their power. But yes, the planet they were on when the wish was used WILL blow up in a year.

The evil-looking Shenron is the Shenron of the Black Stars.

So then there are two completely different shenrons? Or are they both a part of the same dragon?

Oh, thanks for clearing that up. I was thinking the same thing too when I (unfortunatley) watched it.
