Adult Swim Schedule Changed Again for Saturdays

#1

Post by horsegirl » Mon May 31, 2004 5:10 pm

Once again another schedule change is taking place and some show's are only being shown once a week, no longer showing on monday's through thursays.

Starting June 5th

11:00 p.m. Inuyasha
11:30 p.m. Wolf's Rain
12:00 a.m. Witch Hunter Robin
12:30 a.m. Big O
1:00 a.m. Cowboy Bebop
1:30 a.m. Trigun

Nothing much...WHR is coming to Saturday's 'only' Big O is also back for people who used or still watch it. otherwise no big difference but people might have wanted to know. Oh no more FLCL either...

I'm really tired of Big O, I personally think the show is really boring, I mean it emcompesses two extremes, way too smart with its hard to follow plot and storyline, and way too kiddie with its over the top villians and always a big robot fight. (then again, I've never been a big fan of robot anime)

I'd love to see Sailor Moon come to the Saturday line-up (fat chace of that though) or even .Hack, I kinda miss watching it. Of course, if everything goes well, we should Slayers to look forward too . . . though I don't know when.

Oh fellow Canadian, let us share in the common bond that is Canuck. *_*

All I know is, Foxkids had originally bought the rights to Slayers in America after gettign wind CN was interested in it, unfortunately it was only after they bought did they find Slayers is not a little kid's show so for the duration of their ownership its been sitting around useless. But now, the contract Fox has is about to expire. so CN will have the chance to get Slayers finally.

And I liked the .Hack series, all of them, .Hack/SIGN, .Hack.Liminalty, and even .Hack//GIFT. (Actually .Hack//Gift is one of my favs ^_^)

They've been talking about that on the AS forums when I was over there last. That'd be a good show to see on AS.

Erdawn's Canadian. No Comedy Central for him. Or Cartoon Network. Or Action Channel.

Why do people feel the need to use multiple >'s? It was funny the first few times, but now it's boring.

And I guess Inuyasha's the only thing I'll record on Saturdays. I'm bored of Big O because I've seen it like a dozen times, I never got into WHR, and Wolf Rain absolutley SUCKS.

Inuyasha and Wolf's Rain are going to be the only Saturday AS shows I'm watching then. Poor FLCL got the boot...again.

I got much tired of Big O after watching it play through 2-3 times. Don't get me wrong, Bio O is a great show, but it got tiring. AS doesn't seem to want it rest a bit!

I think they're trying to see if it gets enough support for a 3rd season (which would be awesome).

And FLCL only has 6 episodes, which isn't exactly good for variety's sake.

I've never thought the multiple >'s got old. Oh well.

I thought the hitting 26 episodes ended its run. Though they could do an alternate4 universe dealy. Dorothy = Human and such.

FLCL packed more variety into episode 5 than most anime can pack into a season. How much it packed into the whole six episodes was insane

I've been wanting to watch Witch Hunter Robin. I saw the first couple episodes of it on February Vacation or Christmas or something, but then had to cut back on Adult Swim once school kicked in.

And FLCL only has six episodes, so you can only air it for so long.
