I like both US versions, both UK versions (though the New UK lettering is a bit silly-looking), & the 20th-anniversary versions.
The Danish covers look like Choose-Your-Own-Adventure artwork, & the German covers are just ugly. The Swedish covers are nice designs, but the art looks washed out.
And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

Those German covers remind me of A Series of unfortunate events and a few other books I read as a kid.
