Last thing I watched was live theatre (hope that isn't against the rules). 'Pirates of Penzance' is playing at the Skylight. Caught last night's show on the cheap (side balcony---------undesirable seats, apparently, even though you get a better view than anyone on the main floor). It was a good time.

Last thing I watched was the new Sun/Moon trailer. I'm glad we have names for the legendaries now and I'm getting really excited for the games.[DOUBLEPOST=1464879890,1464879720][/DOUBLEPOST]OH I ALSO WATCHED MORE EPISODES OF DB SUPER AND. GOHAN LOVES HIS FAMILY OUT OF TEN. OH MY GOD. HGGGGGGGGGGGGH
Although I was disappointed that they brought in the idea of multiple universes but THEY DONT CORRESPOND TO THE MULTIPLE UNIVERSES CREATED BY TIME TRAVEL IN THE CELL ARC AND I AM UPSET ABOUT IT. You already HAD multiverse theory ya dumb dumbs, but now there are more universes but they're all temporally linear?? Dumb.

Rewatching 'Tromeo & Juliet' for the first time in a while. Good movie. Really, really weird movie.
Still remember the first time I saw it. I was having a bit of trouble getting into Shakespeare in high school, and my AP Lit teacher (sweet old Mrs. Harrington) was all, 'check this sh*t out, motherf*cker', and she popped in her VHS copy. It blew my mind. (We made out as the end credits were rolling. It was super hot.)
...available to watch free-of-charge over at YouTube (nsfw, natch-------it's a Troma movie, innit). James Gunn wrote and co-directed--------you huge 'Guardians of the Galaxy' fans will be pleased to know James Gunn was wrecking shop twenty years ago, as well, I'd imagine.

I'm watching 'Die Hard' right now. 'Die Hard' is a great movie. I should watch it more often.
...just now I'm at the scene where John has just finished digging the glass out his feet, and he starts to get the fear in him, and he radios Al and asks him to find Holly and tell her he's sorry if he doesn't make it out. His voice is cracking left and right. It's a great scene. Like, the situation is relatable as hell--------the fear of dyin with things left unsaid. I don't know what assh*le decided action heroes would be more compelling if they never conveyed fear or vulnerability, but whoever he was, he did a real disservice to the genre.
Next guy they pick to make a Die Hard movie, I hope they sit him down and have him watch the first one a few times, and this scene in particular.

You know, I quite like Epic MealTime. It's good silly fun. But there's still a place for the sweet and nice online cooking show, wherein a goofy doting father concocts dishes for his adorable little girls.
(EDIT: For some reason it never occurred to me British toddlers might struggle with 'r's as well. Heh.)

The last like 5 episodes of Dragon Ball Super have all been fantastic. I marathoned all of the ones I was still behind on the morning the new one came out, because I needed to see my future husband again as soon as possible.
The episode with Babysitter Piccolo was precious for so many reasons: baby Pan calling Piccolo "Piccoyo" was probably the most adorable thing I have ever seen in my life, tied with Gohan's home phone caller ID being a picture of his adorable daughter, and just. So good. Oh my god.
This immediately followed by Vegeta Bein' A Dad and THE RETURN OF GOTENKS. And then my husband. What a solid lineup of episodes, I'm excited to see what this new arc holds. <3333

Dragon Ball Super Episode 48.
Aside from some bits of filler sprinkled in and mildly stretched out scenes, it was really good. 8/10.
Black beat Trunks up, and then when he woke up he attacked Goku. It ended before anything could really get going, and it was so fun it was over before I knew it. Oh, and it's really seeming like Black is not a Saiyan based on his speech.
An interesting little thing is Yajirobe made what I think is his first appearance (but he lost his mustache and is drawn weird), and the next episode is already looking good judging from the previews.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
MY SON!!!!!!!!! I already love how they are dealing with his trauma - attacks Goku bc of how effed up he is over Black. So emotional oh my god I NEED TO KNOW EHAT HAPPENS NEXT???? Also someone please explain this to Kid Trunks that child is having a crisis
Black is officially a terrifying villain. I love him. What is his deal I need to know.
(Unrelated but I think it's adorable that Small Trunks is bad at math. Now if they could just not ship him with a 50 year old lady?)
SPEAKIN OF THAT, I love how the mid-episode commercial splash art got updated after Mai's surprise death. That was a really unexpected twist. They threw me off the scent entirely
It's already looking angstier and more intense than I had even hoped. I'm so excited hhhggvgggggg 9/10 (minus one point bc gross ship)
Actually 9.5 out of ten - additional half point bc Trunks's big anime sword actually did something that was the biggest plot twist of all

WarGames, the classic 80's movie with a fresh-out-of-the-womb Matthew Broderick.
I always wanted to see it and it didn't let me down, although some parts made me go "lol" because it's like a teen thriller and so it's like "super smart teen McGuyver's his way out of anything when he should totally be in jail by now"
