Actually, this one's still on Shoemi...an unconscious victim cannot grab a thrown rescue tool, necessitating direct rescue.

Well, he did go rescue her afterwards. It's just not depicted because it wasn't funny.
^^ I think he said that because as I am the writer and illustrator for this comic, everything that happens in it is my fault.
