Dredd, which was actually a really awesome movie. I had kinda low expectations, and it turned out I was all wrong. Recommended movie.

Cyclo, a Vietnamese art film from the mid-1990s. I love how much is spoken in this movie without dialog. Perhaps that's why one of the lead actors was a popular Hong Kong actor who probably knows no Vietnamese and appears to have been dubbed for all of his lines of dialog... what few actually exist.

I just saw the Goseiger(Angels) vs Gokaiger(Pirates) Movie on YouTube. Was pretty darn good. In Japanese with subtitles. Most notable things is that the Rangers fought each other more than the Villains, while every Villain cooperated from the getgo with barely an argument(there was a slight hesitation at worst), and I like the Gokaiger's ability to transform into any Ranger they choose. Although many often stuck to a similar color.

The other thing is that they fought very similar past Rangers to themselves. GoseiKnight fought all the Sixth Ranger variants(due to him being that kind of Ranger himself, except Quantum Ranger, although Titanium showed up, if I remember correctly, despite being American only...). Pink Rangers fought Pink and female White. Reds fought Crimson and Red ones. Blues fought Blue and Navy ones. Black/Green(they were the regular variations, not being sixth rangers) fought the regular Black/Green as well.

At the end, 3 main Mecha appeared. GoseiKnight's main combo is called GoseiGround while Goseigers have Great Gosei. Since he's a robot himself, well... and Gokaiger and Goseiger had their own specific ones. Early on, when the Goseiger and Gokaiger's main Mecha appeared, the Gokaigers were annoyed when Great Gosei used the Sea Brothers, looking like a Pirate itself. But near the end, every major Mecha appeared. I honestly don't remember every single name, but it's essentially every Megazord in history, even before Mighty Morphin Power Rangers' Super Sentai counterpart, Dairanger, did it.
What's the matter, scared?

Tran Anh Hung's Vertical Ray of the Sun - I didn't pay attention to the plot. I was too in awe of Mark Lee Ping Bin's beautiful cinematography. Maybe next time I'll try harder to follow the story and whatnot.

I saw Monsters U on Sunday. Cute movie, but it seemed to imply continuity from the first installment that wasn't there.

I finally saw Gravity yesterday. That was so good, but it was also so different from what everybody had been saying.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

Before Sunset

Hmm. This movie gave me too many feels. Shouldn't have watched it in my current state.

But the idea of this movie's predecessor happening in real life is one of those dreams...

Watched Sleeping Beauty with my niece and nephew last night (first time in a while). Sort of a 'just-okay' affair overall, but it does have one of Disney's best villains in Maleficent, and that whole end sequence (basically everything from Philip's escape through to the fight with the dragon) is pretty hype.

My little Pony: Equestria Girls

What was I expecting with this movie? Crap. :P

And what did I get? Crap. :P

If this is a harbinger of things to come, expect a good portion of the periphery demographic to jump ship by the end of season 4.

Saw Hunger Games: Catching Fire without seeing the original. Also Thor: The Dark World. Only one of these two films I would rate as pretty darn good.
