Oh also totally forgot but my roommate and I have been marathoning One Piece. I haven't been caught up in like 5 years so there's been plenty of new content. FINALLY got the end of the Fishman Island arc, now it's onward and upwards.
I love Jimbei so much. What a disgruntled dad.

Attack on Titan Season 2, Episode 1.
Sort of a slow episode, but it counteracted that with a cool ending. It was kind of a brutal and pathetic end for a character there, a bit intense even by AoT standards.
I don't like the new opening that much, they keep declining in my opinion. The ending was creepy and weird.

Dragon Ball Super 88
Piccolo beats the p**** out of Gohan, female Broly is teased (Caulifla), and poor Yamcha is still waiting for his invitation. Pretty neat episode, but I'd have liked them to keep the "slice of life" stuff out once in a while--seeing more of Gohan training would be better than Trunks changing a damn diaper.

I've slowed down my MST3K revival watching. Just finished Wizards of the Lost Kingdom. What a **** weird movie. Lends itself very well to riffing.
Overall, I'm really digging the revival. I was a little skeptical at first, but I think it works pretty well. Just took me a little bit through the first episode to get used to the new voices and everything. I've seen some criticism that the riffing is too fast, and I might agree to an extent, but I think after a few episodes it gets into a good rhythm. I'd honestly say the series already has some episodes that I'd consider MST3K classics.

^Huh. I'd kind of forgot about the revival entirely. Coincidentally, I have been watching older MST3K I'd never seen before.
Most recent ep was 'The Painted Hills'. Kind of a tame movie, up until the climax, when Lassie corners the bad guy and kills him in a vengeful rage. Lassie always seemed so gentle in the show----------like who knew she had such range as an actress, right.

I re-watched the Professor Layton movie. News about the new game is making me really nostalgic for this series, but I recently lent out the first two games so I instead had Eternal Diva playing in the background while I played Animal Crossing. I've seen it like 8 times so it's not really necessary to pay full attention.
This movie is the standard to which all movies based off of video games should be held. It's straight up canon to the series and referenced in the games, but more importantly, it has an archeology-motivated swordfight on a giant robot. And puzzles. And a bomb ass ending song. Soooooooo 10/10
