OH DUDE I TOTALLY FORGOT TO RAVE ABOUT WHEN I SAW THE SECRET WORLD OF ARRIETTY IN THEATERS WITH MY FRIEND
It was SO cute. And SO pretty. With a soundtrack so gorgeous it rivals that of HTTYD.

And this isn't even one of the vocalized songs. <33333

Finished the first series of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. I have to say, as iffy as I was toward it in the beginning, it now ranks among my favorites. Of course, I've only actually watched like 10-11 other series in my life, so take from that what you will.
I'm going to do a quick re-run through of Serial Experiments Lain before I start the second series.

Series two of Haruhi Suzumiya started.
I marathonned the entire "Endless Eight" last night. Man... that was... actually not as bad as most people say. Not sure that I'd watch them again, though. Now I only have five episodes left, though. :( But at least I can watch the movie The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya after I'm done.

I heard that Toph will be in it. Maybe not.CuccoLady wrote:Roomies and I are almost done with Avatar.
Two more episodes; gonna finish it off tomorrow.
[that play episode cracks me up every time]
I can't wait for the Legend of Korra, but at the same time I am sad because there will be no Toph, and she is my favorite character in the history of ever.

Which clearly explains why I don't read Homestuck.
I don't watch crap.
Guess what I watched last.
THAT'S RIGHT MORE FIST OF THE NORTH STAR.
The first fight between Ken and Raoh really was something. Hilariously enough Toki proved to be completely useless despite Raoh claiming he was the only fighter he feared. AND THEN KEN PUNCHED RAOH'S HORSE.
Oh yeah and Cromartie High School. Even better is Raoh's Horse was apparently the inspiration for Freddie's horse.
The character based on Freddie Mercury is riding a gigantic war horse. In a high school.
Why isn't this show more popular.
Edit: Here's said horse punching.

Latest episode of Kill Me Baby. People say it's terrible, but I like it. I even drew some fan art: Sonya Likes You

You should try watching Haibane Renmei, Bomby. I think it would be up your alley. It's a little bit remniscent of both Lain and NGE.Bomby wrote:Finished the first series of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. I muttered 'light as a board, stiff as a feather' for 2 days straight and now I've ascended, ;aughing at olympus and zeus is crying

According to Wikipedia, the creator says he was influenced by Haruki Murakami's Hard Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World, which is one of my favorite novels. I'll have to check it out, yo.Cosmonautical wrote:You should try watching Haibane Renmei, Bomby. I think it would be up your alley. It's a little bit remniscent of both Lain and NGE.
