Ash is actually dead. He was resurrected by the power of Pokemon tears and now roams the lands as an unliving, undying abomination that refuses to stay in one place for fear that people will learn his secret and hate his existence. How else can you explain his complete and udder lack of interest in any of the girls that have been following him around for the last 12 years?
