A lot of people like One Piece. I just don't like it, especially the art style.

Well, manga I read very little of but humor anime, I watch Dragon Ball, Ninja Nonsense and Maburabo (sp?). Manga is expensive so I read very little. It should be lik 3 bucks vs 8 or more per volume.

Go with Lupin III. Plenty of naked babes and Loony Toons-style slapstick.

I don't know about the Lupin the III Manga but I thought it was kinda odd how in the Lupin the III Anime everyone had these really really long legs.

Chobits, although a concept which would make porn slightly less culturally relevant, is a bit too.. Well, I believe I'm better off with my violent manga about Musashi.

However, I do like Sgt. Frog, which is a humor manga, as well as Gin Tama. Samurai Champloo has a nice mix of Samurai action and Humor, even in Manga form, although it lacks the smoothness and cutting edge badassery of the Anime's fight sequences.

Hell yeah, but like Cowboy Bebop it needs backstory & continuation.

^Heh, tell that to every single fanboy who ****ing loves the both of them, especially Bebop. I'm pretty sure both of them do a good job of explaining what's going on throughout the course of the show, although Champloo has some interesting continuity holes they open just to **** with you. Either way it goes, they're both just fun, lovable anime. No need for a novel or two worth of backstories on all the characters, they're adequately explained over time.

Champloo and Bebop were awesome and I think Champloo is fine as is but I literally seen every Bebop 10+ times and I have no idea who Vicious is, or anything about Spike. It's like watching the middle of the best anime ever. But just the middle!

However, I never seen the movie which I am sure explains alot. Also, I bet the cancelled PS2 game filled some of those Grand Canyons.

The Movie, I think, fills everything in nicely, but I'm used to stories that make even less sense. So yeah.

Bebop does imply what happens, but you have to make it out.

Evangelion was also neat but made less sense than something random.

If computers looked like 6 year old girls. Really. Intriguing.

Also, the lack of backstory is the point. You don't need to know everything about something to appreciate what is there - backstory is always noise, albeit not unpleasant. The absence of it allows you to answer the questions themselves - anything the show provides isnt going to offer more than you've already assumed.

I think Samurai Champloo and Full Metal Alchemist filled in just enough of what you need. Mysteries are fine but I am not Sherlock Holmes, Evangelion just didn't play fair.

FMA was a great series but i don't like the original contetn they came up whit in the end.

And about evangelion, didn't they have to do a move about the last episodes just so they would make sense?

I didn't like how FMA forced the ending into a movie. I still never technically never finished the series, I can't find that movie.

^^What they did was make a movie that was basically an alternative ending to the series, because fans were being bitchy about the last episodes.
