so idk why yall are hating because i loved the finale and thought it was adorable and great and the songs were good

it did feel a little bit rushed, might have benefited from being a 2-parter, but i loved it all the same
Just cause it was rushed and didn't really have any conflict. It really could have benefitted from being a two parter - I probably wouldn't have had such an issue with it if there was time to develop plot in between the songs like in the S2 finale.

although i wont argue with the fact that it being a 2-parter would've been awesome as hell, ^that

That fan ep, 'Double Rainboom', is up and about.

Some aspects of it are excellent. Some others...well, it's a fan project, one shouldn't be too critical.

Yeah it's basically all drama at this point. It's best to just watch the episode and move on.

So, that Season 1 boxset apparently sold well enough to make a Season 2 boxset not only inevitable, but imminent. Due out less than a month hence.

Oh good, they told us when it will be released.

I'll make sure to stop being alive by then.

This seems like taking a really bad idea and just trying to make it watchable. Which is pretty much bread and butter for the series anyway.

I dunno, I feel that this show is becoming less and less what Faust was aiming for since McCarty took over. It certainly doesn't have the same charm anymore, at least not to me. This movie is almost the personification of that.

I am being completely serious when I say that I thought that video was a parody or at least fan-made.

I'm not even some hardcore fan and that offends me. It's just..

Anyway.

It's like the show is made for young girls or something what is up with that!

Patience for the internet is not infinite.

This seems like their attempt to aim for the original target demographic because they got fed up with bronies.

Which is odd since they've pretty much been trying to pander to them since S2.

I won't deny, I see where they're going with this...

...no, nevermind, I don't see where they're going with this.

...I don't know about this.

Like, on the one hand, this is a pretty weird turn. Rather an unwelcome one, too, come right to it---part of MLPFiM's charm is its remoteness from reality, which is kind of yuck sometimes.

But on the other...well, I never thought I'd be a fan of any MLP show at all. Seems a little closed-minded to be all 'there is literally no chance this will be good', given the circumstances.

Not going to get my hopes up, but I also wouldn't mind being pleasantly surprised.
