What happened to The Flintstones?

We know they were a family during the Stone Age. How come we don't know what happened to them in the end? What is the ultimate fate of Fred Flintstone? Where does meeting John Cenastone fit on the Flintstones timeline?

Fred Flintstone was frozen during the Ice Age and was brought back to life in the Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy's "Modern Primitives" episode, of course.

No, no. Ice Ages don't kill cavemen------they kill dinosaurs.

Also stand-up comedy careers. Like when's the last time anyone saw Denis Leary, John Leguizamo or Ray Romano telling jokes on a stage instead of pretending to be stupid terrible-looking CGI animals in a movie for babies.

They most likely just died, considering the life expectancy of Paleolithic humans was about 30 years. Smoking all those Winstons probably didn't help.

The Flintstones legacy is being kept alive solely by the Pebbles brand cereals and SiivaGunner

At least that Seth MacFarlane reboot never happened

Winstons certainly sound delicious. How does one prepare them? Can they be eaten cold?

Didn't they meet the Jetsons? If so, they now reside in the future... :D

People learned that humans never co-existed with dinosaurs and then realized how historically inaccurate it was.

I know what really happened to the Flintstones---------some long-haired homewrecking hussy enticed Fred away from Wilma, and the affair caused their marriage to fall apart.

It's an ugly world, man.
