“I think that’s coming and I think Dragon Ball Super should happen this year. We don’t have a contract yet but Chris called me the other day and said I think this might be happening soon. Funimation has been working hard since late last year to go to Japan and secure… Just because we have Z doesn’t mean the Japanese are gonna go OK you can have Super. It’s the whole process of lawyers meeting and talking about money and shows and whose gonna air it and what money they get for it and they have to work all that out before they call the cast members and say here’s a contract. But my guess and this is totally speculative, I’m hoping we’ll have something out in July and at the very worst case scenario August or September for school. Definitely before Christmas I’m hoping because I need a job.”

Interestingly Schemmel also said their was a rumor of a third movie, however I can’t say how much weight this holds. You can check out the full interview below.
So maybe late November or early December if he's right that it's before Christmas. I'm tired of the Japanese voices, and I hope that the dub replaces the DBS music as well. Some of it is okay but there are some really trashy tunes, just like DBZ had until the music was replaced.

Anyway, I'm almost more excited about the possibility of a third movie. The animation and music are top-notch in them so I would love another, and two seems like a weird number to stop at while the series is going strong again (the movies and video games have been selling well so why not).

Also mentioned is something about a video game that might be coming up, but there's nothing specific. Hopefully it is Fusion Project.

Some of the American OST's are great and some of them are absolutely terrible so I really don't think there's any problem with just keeping the original.

(although I am thankful for the existence of the song "Gohan Angers" and all of the feels it comes with.)

Anyway I haven't seen Super yet so I can't otherwise make any educated comments, other than the necessary "MORE DREGON BALLZ. YSE"
I believe in second chances, and that's why I believe in you.

[QUOTE="CuccoLady, post: 1592485, member: 30977"]Some of the American OST's are great and some of them are absolutely terrible so I really don't think there's any problem with just keeping the original.

I'd say that most of Faulconer's DBZ music was great and generally pretty fitting of the scenes, with a few bad ones (and even some good ones brought down with sprinkled in moments of weird like transitions or whatever).

I was about to trash DBS's OST but I just went through it and it's fine, actually...with the exception of one song so bad (especially when used in what would otherwise be cool moments that are totally annihilated by its presence) that it actually managed to make me somehow perceive the whole thing was bad. I can't actually find the song on the DBS OST playlist I found, somebody probably omitted it because of how s***ty it was. It's literally so bad I'd trade the rest of the good OST away to get rid of it.

can you tell i hate it
