I actually wanted to see the Chun-li movie despite hearing how awful it is. I want to make a successful video game movie one day and so I have a penchant for collecting every single video game movie no matter how awful it is.
The original Street Fighter movie is like Batman & Robin levels of goofiness. It's actually quite entertaining in that way even when you're not drunk. Anything with Van Damme is bound to be stupidly entertaining.
Fun fact: The woman who played Chun-li in the original Street Fighter movie with Van Damme is May in Marvel's Agents of Shield.
