I really enjoy this show, but I'm heading towards the end (I'll be starting the last season tomorrow) and looking for something to watch after I finish it. I want a comedy show where characters are living an everyday, mundane life, but said life is portrayed in a very humorous way and filled with intelligent, witty remarks and jokes. I don't want any Family Guy or Simpsons crazy ****. The show doesn't have to be animated, can be live action, but I want it to be like I described it. Also, if possible, no laugh track. I hate being told when to laugh, I have a mind of my own.

Can't think of much. Hank Hill was based on a character from Beavis & Butthead, btw.

If nothing else, try the Critic. King of the Hill was mostly based on traditional sitcoms, though.

There aren't really any other shows that work like King Of The Hill, even Bob's Burgers isn't that close (still worth checking out though imo).

Then Mike Judge did a damn good job because most of the sitcoms turn out to be really lame and awkward and KotH wasn't.

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll be sure to check them out.

BTW What do you think of Modern Family? I heard it's really good, but I don't know if that's exactly the type of show I'm looking for.

modern family's a pretty standout show because it's one of the few broad comedies on TV that can be funny without stooping to the lowest common denominator

it can get really silly at times but it's a pretty solid watch, at least the first few seasons. I've heard the latest seasons aren't nearly as good.
and that's the waaaaaaaaaay the news goes

Val would also suggest Bob's Burgers. It's a few pegs higher on the silly scale than KotH, but nowhere near The Simpsons or Family Guy.

I think I'll give both of them a shot, then.
