Yeah I believe most of the Hobbit from the book will be done in the next movie (I mean, it is called "The Desolation of Smaug" so), and everything after is expansion of the LotR universe and connecting everything.

Also I keep seeing comparisons between Radagast and Jar-Jar Binks. As someone who actually rewatched The Phantom Menace the night before going to see The Hobbit: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH NO.

Blast from the past. The first Jackson Hobbit turned out much better than any of the LoTR so I was quite pleased by it. Here's hoping it carries through the rest of the series.

i hope we see more of the simmering sexual tension between gandalff and galadriel in this movie

maybe they can reenact the music video for 'steam' right there in the middle of the movie---like why the hell not, another five minutes of filler isn't going to kill anyone
