What's Your Favorite James Bond Movie?

I think all of us have seen at least one, if not, it's still a name that everybody at least knows. A movie franchise that's been around for 50 years, 20 something movies, some iconic scenes, some iconic quotes, etc. Which one is your favorite? My favorite James Bond movie is Goldeneye. I know it's an odd choice, I know alot of James Bond fans think of it as one of the crappier ones, but, for me, it's a great James Bond movie. A big part of it probably comes from playing the Goldeneye video game so damn much. I've always been a fan of the villains in the movie, all of them had their own part, and it just worked. Boris was fun just because he was annoying with his stupid catchphrase, but was still fun. Xenia was awesome just because she was just a badass, Ourumov was awesome because the actor just made that part work. I'll admit, the character itself is nothing special, but, the actor does a great job with him. Of course, Trevelyan was just awesome. I mean, come on, the main villain is James Bond former partner?

I will say though, like alot of Goldeneye haters say, Trevelyan was kind of "eh", they could have done alot more with him, but, he still works. I don't know why, I always liked that scene where James Bond is talking with him at that yard or whatever. Plus, Sean Bean is just awesome. Whether he's playing Trevelyan, or Boromir. Anyway, everything about that movie was just awesome, it's a shame that alot of James Bond fans think it sucks. If they wanted to make fun of the Goldeneye game on X Box 360/Wii/PS3, go ahead! I'll agree with you! Anyway, so that's why I enjoy Goldeneye!

I was never a fan but the Pierce Brosnan films were my favorite.

I'm kind of surprised, alot of James Bond fans hate the Pierce Brosnan James Bond movies. I do agree though, those are some great ones, i've never got why so many people dislike them.

^ Me neither. The older ones are corny and I hate Dan Craig. That leaves Brosnan, and I think he gives off the Bond vibe best.

You might enjoy the Timothy Dalton ones. I think his movies were in the early 90's (1 might be the late 80's). He only has 2 though, so, if you're not a big James Bond fan, it's easy to miss them. I'm guessing you like the Pierce Brosnan ones since they're more serious James Bond movies compared to the Roger Moore and Sean Connery era ones, if that's you're reasoning, you should give the Timothy Dalton movies a try.

I haven't really seen that many Bond movies, actually. If I had to rank the ones I have seen, it'd probably be something like this (from best to still-decent-but-not-best):

1. GoldenEye
2. Live and Let Die
3. From Russia with Love
4. On Her Majesty's Secret Service
5. Die Another Day
6. For Your Eyes Only
