Rodriguez has announced his intention to film this summer:

'Sin City' Sequel Finally Moving Ahead, Robert Rodriguez Shooting This Summer - Hollywood Reporter

I'm hoping they don't change the style from the first set of shorts, since it's easily one of my favorite films overall. Also hoping for a return by Mickey Rourke, since he was the standout lead.

Didn't he die in the movie?
Why is it drug addicts and computer afficionados are both called users?

^^Unlike Hartigan (Bruce Willis), Marv has more room for prequel-esque stories.

^Miller's only directed twice before: Sin City 1 (with Rodriguez co-directing) was good, & The Spirit (solo) was bad. Since Rodriguez will be co-directing again, I'm saying it'll be good.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

There are more shorts with Marv as the lead, actually, they adapted the shorts pretty much directly from the print version and just took out a few unnecessary scenes and such.

Assuming 'Dame to Kill For' is a straight adaptation of the Sin City story with that name, you can expect to see Marv return, along with Dwight (the story's lead), Manute, Gail, and Miho, among others.

This might be good. I liked the first movie, but I wasn't blown away by it the way some people were---you know, reading and rereading the comics for years beforehand, I guess I was bound to be a little underwhelmed.
