I'll rent it one day. I agree with Jere they have changed alot though the old Cartoon movie wasn't too faithfull either.

As far as I know, it's NOT a book adaptation. It's a NEW STORY about Alice's Adventures, picking up after the book.

I really like Disney's old animated version, faithful to the source material or not.

Maybe I'll see this---maybe not. Tim Burton's body of work is wildly uneven in terms of quality, so there's no guarantee this'll be worth a damn.
