Bangkok Dangerous

As an avid fan of Nicolas Cage's integrity-ruining antics, I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. But if you don't like to laugh at this man's expense, I'd say skip it.

The movie clocks in at an hour forty, and it probably could have been a 20-30 minute short film. The sheer amount of unnecessary content is striking. Among the several other complaints I could make (some of which I found hilarious and forgivable, this being a Cage flick), that sticks out the most, probably because it didn't make me laugh.

I may go see it, I don't know.

That's one of the worst titles I have ever heard in my life.
Also, it's a remake of a movie with the same stupid title that's only 9 years old.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

I just can't get past all the cliches in the commercials. "The only way out is to break all the rules!" "(something I forget) isn't everything; it's the only thing!"

Oh, I never made any judgments about the quality of the original, only its title.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

*Obvious joke about the word "Bangkok"*

Also, Cage has long hair.

Why does Cage have long hair?

I saw it. It was thoroughly OK. But not much more than that. It really didn't have any interesting characters except for the main one. How many hardened hit men choke and have a moral crisis when the guy is in their sights? Apparently some. The whole storyline with the deaf woman was okay, but I knew it would happen that way, or some variant.
The man who is blind, deaf, and silent lives in peace.
