Saw it. I declare it my favourite comedy of the year so far.

Random spoiler tag thoughts:
Spoiler.
I like how Steve Coogan suddenly gets blown up with a land mine, like 10 seconds after they land in the jungle. However, it would have been more effective if they didn't show Ben Stiller playing with Coogan's severed head in the redband trailer (maybe I should stop watching those).

Also, Tom Cruise was definitely near-unrecognizable as the foul-mouthed studio exec. Too bad the media had to spoil the fact that he was appearing in the film.

I just saw it today and I'll say it is the funniest movie that I've seen in quite a while. Definitely one of my top movies of the year.
Spoiler.
^I never saw the redband trailer, so I'd have to say that one one of the funniest parts in the movie. The panda was also pretty awesome.

Awesome. Just, wow.
When in Rome, do as the Romans do.
So.....
What happens when Romans feel out of place?

I thought it was alright. It has its funny moments, but also has its corny moments. Most of Ben Stiller's lines were pretty corny, but I laughed basically every time Downey Jr. was on screen.

Pretty funny in parts....
Spoiler.
Slowed down a lot in the middle. There was about 30-40 minutes where nothing really got accomplished, broke the movie up for me. I thought TC was a little ridiculous, possibly channeling Ari Gold too much. Funny bits nonetheless, about on par with the other summer comedies in '08 IMO.
Long Live Sheik!

'Effing hilarious. Robert Downey Jr is a God among men. I am in love with him.
