Chaos Faction

Sorry to everyone who was going to join my last one. At first I was stalling to see if more people would join, then I was trying to figure out how to start it off, then I lost interest because its not really a style I like to do. -_-;; (And yes, I'm aware the title is uncreative, but it sounds better than most of my other RPG titles, so whatever.)
Plot: The world is in turmoil, the many countries of Talmest thrown into war, fighting against each other for power or simply for their own survival. Many people are forced out of their normal lives and into war. While many are quickly gaining ranks and fame for their power, many more are losing their lives for it. When the war ends, who will be left standing?

Appearance:
History: (optional)
Faction: Pick one from below, or put Mercenary if you do not wish to be with any of the groups.
Stats: Out of 500
Power - Overall strength, lets you use heavier equipment without being hindered as badly. And makes you inflict more damage overall.
Endurance - How long you can fight.
Mind - Ability to use magic effectively. Also helps with learning spells faster during training.
Charisma - Ability to lead (or manipulate...) others. Helps advancing your rank in your faction, or may help get jobs/followers if you choose to be a mercenary.
Agility - How fast you are in battle / how long it takes you to travel on foot.
Training - 5 points to give yourself a few skills, multiple points in one gives you more skill with it. I would say to be fairly generic with it, such as a type of weapon or magic, so you will be able to do more things.
(Ex: Swordsmanship: 3 --- Shield:1 --- Healing Magic:1)

Factions/Countries (If a country you would be a soldier within the country).
Mercenary - ...You and whoever wants to join you. You would be free to do whatever you want and work for whoever you want, but you generally need to build up a reputation for yourself before you can do so. It is a fairly difficult field as there is little support on your path and you are somewhat limited.
Angel's Guard - An organization that hopes to rid the world of evil. They control a very small piece of land located at the heart of the main continent of Talmest, between Talernn, Selsis, and Afarum. Most of the missions they have are either for protecting people, or going after the Black Talon guild, who hopes to take over the world by boosting their influence across the world. Though they have some of the smallest forces, they train them well, and have skillful leaders.
Black Talon - An organization located all across Talmest that wishes to rule the world under any means. They are a difficult to stop group, as their main base is hidden within the northeastern islands of Talmest, which are both large and for the most part barren mountains, most of those who head there do not return. The Black Swords have a strong ambition, to be the most powerful force in Talmest, and they are willing to do anything to get what they want. They have many members, however they are spread across all of Talmest. Most of their members are powerful and vengeful, only wanting to become stronger.
Selsis - A large country to the southwest of the main continent in Talmest. Selsis is a theology and allies itself with the Angel's Guard at times. They have the second largest amount of land in the world, and have an equally large army. Their forces however are spread fairly thin across across their plains in order to fight off against their enemies: Talernn to the North, Diers to their southeast, and Black Talon members hidden within their country; all of which attack them constantly.
Talernn - A large country to the north, controlling the third largest amount of land in Talmest. They are ruled by a fairly corrupt king who forces all within his kingdom to serve him. Due to his greed, the forces of Talernn are constantly attacking Selsis, primarily to the mountain range they control to the west which has many veins of gold and other valuable metals. It is rumored that they are in league with the Black Talon and Diers.
Diers - An island nation to the south of Selsis. It is split among several different islands, each with its own tribe and leader. Even though it varies between the groups, most of them tend to do the same thing. Raid Selsis among other nations. They are all fairly small groups, but the men on their ships are all well trained and work well together for the most part.
Laeth - A fairly large nation to the southeast, located between Diers and Afarum, controlled by a council of several members. Most of Laeth is taken up by desert, which covers the eastern half of the nation. They have a fairly good sized army, most put towards its navy to protect from Diers' attacks. Laeth gets by primarily through trade.
Afarum - The largest nation, though the least organized. It has no real leader over it, but there are several people fighting for power within the country. Its people are either simply living their lives as it is within their villages, or fighting for their own causes. The Black Talon is slowly taking control of the area due to its lack of order.

Battle - Old Style roleplaying for most battles... if only because I think anything more complicating would drive me mad when doing large scale fights. For one on one duels or whatever though, I'll let you decide what you want to do, like if you want to do something with a bit more freedom than "Stand in place, use action, end turn." ...
