Here's what you can do. You start off with 300gp

Train: Pay money for training. You can earn AP from it.
Duel: Fight for XP and money.
Shop: Buy equipment
Quest: Go on a quest. Earn prizes, fame and XP/AP.
Arena: Fight hard fights for good prizes.
Gauntlet: Fight to advance to the next rank. More options at higher ranks.

Leather Armor (+25def) 70gp
Robes (+25 m.def) 70gp
Buckler (+10% evade) 50gp

Accessories
Gloves (+20 att) 50gp
Bracers (+20 def) 50gp
Amulet (+20 m. att) 50gp
Pendant (+20 m. def) 50gp
Soft Boots (+20 spd) 50gp

Items
Tonic (Heals 150hp) 50gp
Ether (Heals 100mp) 50gp

I'll buy Leather Armor, a buckler, some gloves, a Tonic, and an ether. Then go to the arena.

I'll buy a pair of gloves, Some leather armor, and two tonics. Oh and some bracers if I can equip both gloves and bracers
